Sorry for your loss, the Bible shows a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones. John 5 : 28, 29 states the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out to a resurrection.

This is comforting to know that Jesus is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

Hope this brings comfort to the family.

My deepest sympathy in the passing of Mrs. Artis and regret I was unable to make the homegoing services from just finding out about it on Friday, February 5th. Please know she is in a place of peace, let that peace be within your heart that you carry eternally.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints”

To the Family of Mother Vera Artis
I take this moment to join with family & friends in expressing my deepest sympathy in your hour of bereavement. In times like this, may we feel in our hearts the consolation of His promise.

“I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. For I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.”

May the peace of the almighty God that surpasses all understanding comfort you not only today but years to come as you think on the precious memories of your love one. We will continue to keep your family in our prayers.

A Servant of Christs Church,
Bishop Allan Lamar Smith
Goldsboro, NC

Message from Elaine Dixon,
February 2, 2016 6:50 AM

I met Mrs. Artist( better known as my( spiritual mother) in 1988 - present. She always called me and a few others her daughter. I have never met a more gracious and role model and so giving as mom. She was a beacon of light for me and many others. Where I am in God now, I can say, pretty much with no hesitation" It is well with her soul". Family, as someone who lost parents and especially my own daughter five years ago, so I can tell you without a doubt, when you are connected with God, there is no way not to get peace and rejoice because she is just crossing over. and no more will she have to live on this earth where things are so bad in the world, she is not only in a better place, but with the best. This is a little something I want to leave with the Artist family before I go.
She was special in the eyes of the lord and with family and friends She was unique in courage. Where she is ,she is revamped spiritually . Her real life is beginning. She the apple of her husband as well as God's eye.. She was victorious carrying the message of Christ. She always had a praise on her lips for God and now she will be rewarded for all she did while on earth , which is why when it is all said and done" God will tell her" Well done you good and faithful servant. So rejoice with her and take comfort she has gone back to her father. We all are here just a little home.It was time for her to go home and she is happy, whole and have the best life than anyone here on this earth. I love you mom Vera.. May God give the family his peace and comfort through the time of her absence because she had an sweet that will always be felt from all of us who loves this woman. Rest in peace mom.
