William Bernard Coleman

Mr. William Bernard  Coleman, 63, of 4730 Ward Blvd., Wilson, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Brown Chapel Church, 1507 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street, Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents,  William Floyd Coley and Earlean Bynum Coleman; two brothers, Floyd Coleman and Frederick Coleman; and one sister, Prophetess Patricia Ann Cox.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his special friend, Margaret Mincey of Wilson, NC; one daughter, Virginia Helena Coleman of Rocky Mount, NC; one granddaughter, Autumn Coleman of Rocky Mount, NC; one step-son; Willie Wade Newsome of Wilson, NC; four sisters, Bernice Coleman, Annie Doris Coleman, Sheila Diane Lane, all of Wilson, NC and Cynthia Denise Pridgen (Judas) of Fayetteville, NC; three brothers, James Earl Bynum (Colleen), Jeffrey Eugene Coleman, all of Wilson, NC, and Ronald Floyd Coleman (Annette) of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including three special friends, Carl Bynum and  Larry Keith Speight, both of Wilson, NC and Ernest Dunican of Elm City, NC, which he visited daily.

A  public visitation is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
