Mr. Marvin Powell

Mr. Marvin Powell, 60, of 719 New Street, Wilson, North Carolina passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  Pastor Dwight Davis will deliver the message and Minister Ervin D. Powell, Jr. will preside.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

Mr. Powell was preceded in death by: his parents, Kinsey Allen and Willie Mae Willingham and three brothers, Ervin Powell, Carnell Powell and William Powell.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  two brothers, Terry Powell and his wife Freda and Billy Ray Powell, all of Wilson; one sister, Minister Diane Artis and her husband Donnie of Bailey, NC; his sister-in-law, Vickie Powell of Bailey, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including a special nephew, Cornelius Gibbs of Wilson.

There will be a public viewing at Stevens Funeral Home on Saturday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m.  At all other time, the family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs.Terry Powell, 600 New Street, Wilson, NC.
