Odell Harris Earp

Mrs. Odell Harris Earp, 94, of 620 College Street, Wilson, NC passed away on January 30, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brown Chapel OFWB Church, 1507 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King,Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Earp was preceded in death by two sons, L.J. Thomas and Marvin Thomas; one daughter, Helen Thomas; two brothers, Willie Gray Ruffin and William Harris; five sisters, Rosetta Bynum, Martha Yates, Mariah Hinnant, Channie Mae Harris and Magaline Black.

She leaves many cherished memories to: three sons, Ned "Pete" Junior Harris and Leroy "Boot" Harris (Carolyn) both of Wilson, NC and Bealston "Hawk" Thomas of Rocky Mount, NC; one daughter, Ruth Alice Barnes (Junior) of Wilson, NC; fifty grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; three brothers, James Roscoe Harris of Statesville, NC, Jesse Harris and Archie Harris both of Wilson, NC; one sister, Thelma Jones of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

The family will assemble at Brown Chapel OFWB Church, 1507 Hadley Street, Wilson, NC on Thursday at 12:30 pm in preparation for the service.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
