I met Karen as a teenager when I first moved to Wilmington and we shared a summer as close friends and in no time at all life happens and we became adults with different paths.. She never left my heart.. Such a sweet and beautiful girl.. To her Mother Miss Kay and Kevin whome I also got to know and love also JD and her children.. I am heartbroken and wish you peace of mind in the loss of Karen .. I will always keep her in my memory as the girl I knew.. a sweetheart

I had the opportunity to meet this beautiful, kind young woman a few years ago. She didn't know a stranger and could make you feel like a lifelong friend in a matter of minutes. Jason and Tina, I am truly sorry for your loss and heartache but know that the two of you were the life in your mom's eyes and the love of her life. She will be missed greatly!
