James Leon "Snookie" Price, Sr.

Mr. James Leon  "Snookie" Price, Sr.,  71, of 507 West  7th Street, Kenly, NC, passed away on August 10, 2016 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 1820 Martin Luther king, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm also at Stevens Funeral Home. 

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, George Alston and Emily Price; his stepfather, Herbert Royster  and one brother,  Alvin Royster. 

He leaves cherished memories to: three daughters, Linda Terry (Carlos) and Glenda Price, both of Kenly and Michelle Kirby (Dwight); two sons, James Leon Price, Jr.  and Alvin Ray Price (Melissa), both of Kenly, NC; ten grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Lakeisha Richardson, Shenika Jones (Raaschon), Danny Williams, Jr., Jasmine Williams, Angelique Price, Ashiea High, Shya High, Tiffiany Blue, Keeshia Blue including four others; thirteen great grandchildren; five brothers, George Price (Joyce) and Leon Royster, both of Cheverly, MD, Charlie Royster (Carolyn) of Weldon, NC, Ricky Royster (LeVon) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL,  and Arthur Royster of Littleton, NC; three sisters, Linda Daniels (James) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Mary Louise Alston (Thomas) and Delores Taylor (friend, Bailey), both of Littleton, NC; one aunt, Mable Furnell of Littleton, NC; special friend, Edward Howell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and  friends including a very special cousin, Tye Price of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Arrangements are being handled by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
