Dwight Willingham

Mr. Dwight Willingham, 61, of 7258 Flat Rock Road, Sims, NC, passed away on September 21, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September, 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, 6740 Rock Ridge Sims Road, Sims, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Willingham was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Willingham, Sr. and Helen Morgan Willingham; one brother, Johnnie Willingham, Jr. and one sister, Helen Willingham Taybron. 

He leaves many cherished memories to: his wife of the home, Mrs. Anita Taybron Willingham; one son, Dwayne Coley (Annette) of Wilson, NC; one daughter, Tanisha Hunter (Marcus) of Clayton, NC; eight grandchildren, Tiania, Duane, Kayla, Shaniya, Dy'Aysa, Rashad, Sequoia and A'naiya; one great grandchild, Zy'Leah; four brothers, Steve Willingham, Clifton Willingham, Wayne Willingham (Shanata) and Bryan Willingham all of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Janice Willingham of Stantonsburg, NC, Elaine Cousar (Alonza) of Rocky Mount, NC and Carolyn Willingham of  Wilson, NC; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Farmer Taybron of Spring Hope , NC; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Deans (Nathan) of Spring Hope, NC; four brothers-in-law, Lepolean Taybron (Ann), Stanley Farmer (Ruthie) and Jeffrey Taybron all of Spring Hope, NC and Ryan Taybron (Tamika) of Wendell, NC; four aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
