Mr. Dion Beethoven Cooper, 48, of 2500 Albany Lane, Wilson, NC passed on July 25, 2015.  

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 1:30pm at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Lane Street, SE, Wilson, NC

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by: his mother, Brenda Lee Felton Cooper; one brother, Kevin Armstrong; his grandmother, Mable Smith Leach and one uncle, Augustus Leach.  

He leaves precious memories to: his devoted wife, Vicky Diane Hinnant Cooper of the home; two daughters, Shameka Mack of the home and Mercedes Cooper of Zebulon, NC; one son, Julian Mack of Manhattan, NY; two grandchildren, Jah'Kenzie Fleming and Travis Fleming both of the home; his father and stepmother, Thomas Ray Cooper, Sr. and Sheila Cooper; four brothers, Johanne Cooper of Wilson, NC, Thomas Ray Cooper, Jr. (Charmaine) of Durham, NC, Dionysus Cooper Sr. of Wilson, NC and Rance Cooper of Bronx, NY; one sister, Angie Cooper of Wilson, NC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Maurice Carter and Sylvia Carter of Lucama, NC; two sisters-in-law, Laura Armstrong of South Carolina and Angela Clay of Lucama, NC; one brother-in-law, Kim Eatmon of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends including, a very special aunt, Frances "Evon" Joyner.

The family will receive friends at the home, where they will assemble on Sunday at 12:30pm, in preparation for the funeral procession.
