Tony was a loving, kind, compassionate man of God. He often visited my brother, who is gone to be with the Lord. My brother was always so happy to see him. He also took the time to visit many others who are sick and shut-in. We miss him. Bless his family!!!
Message from Antony Farmer
October 23, 2017 12:16 PM

We the Farmer family express our sincere condolences to the family of our close friend and class mate Tony Edwards. He has always been one of my best friends throughout our school years and adult life. It was so exciting when he gave his life to the Lord and began his ministry work in the church. Coach called Tony Tuesday and Friday in high school. I never understood why because he always worked hard. He was always in the top finishers during the road runs, always pushing during the figure eight and drills, and always made his practice free throws the first time. But man did his focus turn up on the game day, instant offense ,rebounding, and defense! Maybe that is why coach called him Tuesday and Friday. I believe his life events and experiences before he accepted the Lord was a practice for his new game: a servant for the Lord. His focus and actions in the salvation game were even more focused and about kingdom work. Oh how his faith in the Lord encouraged me!!We are blessed by his example and will miss him. I will always cherish all of the great memories from school to the present. We can't ease the burden of his passing with words. So we just will continue to pray that God will strengthen you the family continually. The word in 2 Corinthians expresses that our Lord and Savior are full of mercies and comfort, so we just call upon the Lord to comfort us all, family and friends. Bless the Lord! As for me, I will look to the heavens from time to time and holler at "Chief" and simply say, "hey Tony, let's play ball!

Ayonda,

Our hearts are empty when we first lose a loved one, but time will help us realize that we never lose the people we love. Your Father will continue to be in your thoughts, laughter, smile and the way you talk. His love will leave a lifetime of memories and you will find comfort in knowing that your life is a rainbow by having shared his love.

Your loved one will continue to shine in your memories of him.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me

My expressions of condolence to The Edwards Family. Jehovah God is aware of your loss and what you are feeling at this time-Ezekiel 18:32. Jesus Christ will use his God-given power to reunite families as he did his friend Lazarus-John 11:41-44. I do hope you will take the opportunity to read these scriptures in your copy of The Bible.
