Billy Gray Wooten, Sr.

Mr. Billy Gray Wooten, Sr., 59, of 1310 Park Glenn Drive, Apt. 101, Raleigh, NC, passed away on November 2, 2017.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Wilson Chapel FWB Church, 513 E. Barnes Street, Wilson, NC.

A wake service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Mr.Wooten was preceded in death by his parents, William Grey Wooten and Mattie Gray Fields Wooten, one sister, Betty Christine Whitt and one brother, Williams Knight.

He leaves cherished memories to:one son, Billy Gray, Wooten, Jr. (Delana) of Snellville, GA; three grandchildren, Bailey Wooten, Bella Wooten and Brook Wooten all of Snellville, GA; one sister, Jean Dale Wooten of Macclesfield, NC; one brother-in-law, James Whitt of LasVegas, Nevada; four aunts, Lucille Staton, Addie Pugh, Rena Wooten and Effie Wooten; one uncle, Fleming Wooten; one niece, Kantayhanee Murray (Clarence) of Gwen-Oaks of  MD; one great niece, Samiyah Murray; four special cousins, who were like sisters, with whom he grew up, Deborah Lewis,  Ardean Eason, Denise Wheatley-Rowe and Glenda Gorham; six other special cousins, who were like brothers to him, with whom he grew up, Mack Dickens, Roney Dickens, Terrell Dickens, Lamar Williams, Bernard Dickens and Ricky Williams; his godmother, Dorothy Dickens; a host of other family and friends.

Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
