Willie June Hart

Mr. Willie June Hart, 83, of 2509 Saint Christopher Circle, SW Wilson, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, November 8, 2020, 2:00 pm, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street formerly Lane Street , Wilson, NC.

A public visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Willie was preceded in death by: his wife, Mildred Ann Hart; his parents, Amos Hart and Essie Lee Hart and his brother, Jim Ray Hart.

Left to cherish fond memories are: two daughters, Patricia Ann Harris (Michael) of Wilson, NC and Lucinda Gail Ferrington (Andre) both of Wilson, NC; one grandson, Willie DeAndre’ Hart (Bryana) of San Antonio, TX; four great-granddaughters, Tyasia Hart, Alayiah Hart, Bailee Jay Hart and Stonie Rae Hart; two brothers, Amos Earl Hart and Fred Lee Hart (Hattie), both of Kinston, NC; two sisters, Essie Lee Dixon and Rosa Prayer (Rodney), both of Hookerton, NC; three uncles, Matthew Jones of Hookerton, NC, Willie D. Jones of Maryland and Wesley Jones of Washington, DC; a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece who helped take care of him during his illness, Jasmine Chante’ Younger of Charlotte, NC, along with other loving relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
