Willie Earl "Bill" Williams, Sr.

Mr. Willie Earl "Bill" Williams, Sr., 64, of 519 E. Main Street, Durham, NC passed away at his home on Friday, April 28, 2023.

The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  Pastor James Perry will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  

The public viewing is scheduled on Thursday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home prior to the service.  The family will meet at Stevens Funeral Home on Thursday and will greet guest at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Williams, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, John Davis Williams and Annie Bell Best Williams and two brothers, Charles Davis Williams and Rudy Williams.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to: one son, Willie Earl Williams, Jr. (Destiny) of MD; one grandchild, Willow Evangeline Williams of MD; three sisters, Lois Jean Hayes of Durham, NC, Linda Ruth Davis (Troy) of Bailey, NC and Donna Gail Lucas (Harold) of Wilson, NC; four brothers, Melvin Williams of Wilson, NC, Richard Williams of Elizabeth City, NC, Kenneth Ray Williams of Bailey, NC and Michael Williams of DC; a nephew/brother, Corey Williams of Wilson, NC; his god-children, Madeline, Margot and Marianne; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including two special friends, Natalie Spring (Harris) of Durham, NC and Ronald Davis of Chapel Hill, NC.

Services have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
