William C. "Boot" Lewis

Mr. William C. "Boot" Lewis, 80 of 3914 Rasberry Drive N., Wilson, NC passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his home in Wilson, NC.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Mr. William was preceded in death by: his parents, William David Lewis and Viola Holloman Lewis; one sister, Brenda Harrell and three brothers, Edward Lewis, Horace Lewis and James Lewis.

Left to cherish fond and precious memories are:  his loving wife, Frances P. Lewis of the home; one son, William Anthony Lewis (Erica Scott) of Atlanta, GA; a special friend who was like a son, Tony Starling of Wilson, NC; two daughters, Connie Frances Lewis of Wilson, NC and Asha "Loretta" Woods (Terry) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Francesca Sultzer, Lilac Lewis, William E. Lewis, Violet Jane Lewis and Sunday Lewis; one great-grandchild, Rylyn Durr; four sisters, Mollie Collins and Wanda G. Leary (Michael) of Harrellsville, NC, Viola B. Lewis of Wilson, NC and Carolyn Privott of Murfreesboro, NC; one brother, Cecil McCoy Lewis (Freida) of Harrellsville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
