William Bernard Sanders

Mr. William Bernard Sanders, 68, of 4501 Trey Road, Wilson, NC passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Wilson Medical Center. 

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wison, NC.

 A public walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC. 

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Mamie Sanders and brother, Herman Sanders.

His memories are left to be cherished by: his wife, Shirley Edwards Sanders of the home; son, William Sanders; one step-son Erick Anderson, both of Wilson; daughter, Tonya Williams (Bobby); two step-daughters, Regina Anderson and Cheryl Lewis (Tony) all of Wilson; three grandchildren, Adrian, McQuials, and Dez'mon; five great-grandchildren; brother, James Sanders of Rice, VA, three sisters-in-law, Betty Coley, Jeanette Smith (Amos), and Lula Faison, all of Wilson; brother-in-law, Dennis Edwards, of Wilson, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr., Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
