Mr. Walter Edward Dew, 65 of 1611 Gold Street N, Wilson, NC passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding him in death were: his parents, Charlie L. Dew and Almeter H. Dew; five siblings, Charlie L. Dew, Jr., Willie Dew, Terry Dew, Nettie Farmer and Katherine White.

 Left to cherish wonderful memories are: his fiancé’,  Carolyn Knight; one son, Walter Exum (Shanetta); one daughter, April Evans (Rudolph); step-children, Kenisha Woodard, Tenisha Williams (Desmond) and James Atkinson (Wanda); seven grandchildren, Chanel Evans, Makayla Evans, Keshawna Exum, Desmond Williams, DeQwan Williams , Kelcie Williams and Kristle Manning; five brothers, Ernest Edmundson (Debra), Dennis Dew (Queen), Jerry Dew (Jackie), Larry Dew and Jimmy Dew; five sisters, Darnella G. Barnes, Bernice D. Farmer, Mary J. Brown, Beverly Bacon and Geraldine Gaskins; god-son, Kenta Artis; god-sister, Tammy and a host of other loving relatives and many many friends.
