Victor Loqura Baines, Jr.

Mr. Victor Loqura Baines, Jr, 40, of Landis, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Atrium Cabarrus Medical Center in Concord, NC.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, SE, Wilson, NC.  Pastor George Atkinson will deliver the eulogy and Pastor Michael Bryant will preside.  The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home with the family being present from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to meet and greet friends.

Victor leaves a legacy of love and devotion to:  his children, Josiah Bowe and Victoria Baines, both of Charlotte, NC and Triniti Gupton of Raleigh, NC; his parents, Pastor Victor Loqura Baines, Sr. and Nettie Baines of Wilson, NC; two sisters, Felecia Baines Pickett and husband, Terrell, and Nyree Baines, all of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Travis Baines of Sping Hope, NC and Micah Joel Baines of Louisville, KY; a special friend, Emily Hogan of Charlotte, NC; two god-brothers, Kenneth Taylor of Washington, DC and Timothy Nurse of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
