Vice Bishop Anthony Atkinson of the Apostolic Holiness Assembly Churches of America, Inc, 78, of Wilson, NC passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. 

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Apostolic Holiness Assembly Church, 705 S. Sycamore St., Fremont, NC.  Bishop Shelton Parker will deliver the eulogy.  The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. 

A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  An Inspirational Wake will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
