Ms. Truemiller M. Worsley, (1955-2025), of Durham, NC, passed away on January 4, 2025, at Duke Regional Hospital.
Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC. The public visitation is scheduled for Friday prior to the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
True, as she was affectionately called, was born, educated, and lived most of her life in Wilson, NC. True loved being a caregiver to her mom, Annie Melton (deceased 1985) and a mother to her son, Trevor. She held various jobs throughout her life utilizing her skills as a laborer until she retired.
She leaves behind a loving family including her only son, Trevor; sisters, Annie (of Maryland), Anna (of Wilson, NC); numerous grand and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family; special friends, Loretta Gonazles and Mary Handy who caringly thought of and supported her.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated, as True loved children and would be honored to support the continued research, treatment and care of sick children. Thank you for your consideration.
