Tony Sylvester Boddie

Mr. Tony Sylvester Boddie, 52, of Wilson, NC, passed away on March 10, 2019.

The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  The public viewing will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.  

Mr. Boddie was preceded in death by:  his mother, Mable Doris Ford Boddie; his step-father, Bradley Henderson; his grandparents, Roscoe Lee Ford, Leona Reid Ford, Wade Albert Boddie, and Mildred Jones Boddie; two aunts, Brenda Dawes and Maggie Boddie Fields; and one uncle, Henry Lucas.

He leaves loving memories to:  his father, Wade Oliver Boddie, Sr.; two brothers, Wade Oliver Boddie, Jr. (Janet) of Wilson, NC and Timothy Fontain Boddie of Raleigh, NC; two aunts, Vandora Ford Lucas of Rocky Mount, NC and Mildred Cooper (Douglas) of Elm City, NC; one nephew, Malachi T. Boddie of Raleigh, NC; several cousins including special cousins, Adena Foreman and Tina Wagner, both of Elm City, NC, Julius Foreman, Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC, Pam Stancil of Kenly, NC and Theresa Williams of Durham, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will meet at the home of his brother, Wade Boddie, Jr., 521 Thurston Drive, W., Wilson, NC and will also assemble there on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.  

 Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
