Mr. Thurman Battle, 86, of 4328 Deer Creek Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2021, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Col. Bobby E. Battle will be the celebratory speaker. The burial will follow in Middlesex Memorial Gardens, 9312 Stokes Road, Middlesex, NC.

A public walk-through visitation is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. also on Saturday, January 29, 2022 prior to the service at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
