Ms. Thelma Hunter, 89, of 406 S. Pender Street, Elm City, NC, transitioned from labor to reward peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home.
Her home going celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Stevens Funeral Home, Wilson, NC. Pastor Glen Taylor will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens, 1603 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
