Steven Curtis Parker

Mr. Steven Curtis Parker, 56, of 1700 Augusta Circle, Wilson, NC, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home.

The funeral services is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1603 Bishop LN Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public walkthrough is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Linda “Lynn” Parker; maternal grandparents, Levi and Rosetta Parker; uncle, Levi Parker, Jr.; and his granddaughter, Kha’Naya Daughtridge.

Cherished memories are left to: his daughter, Keena Chrisshandra Daughtridge of Wendell, NC; his parents, Elder Herman and Rosa  Lucas of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Virgil Lucas and wife Keisha of Wilson, NC; Dennis Horne and wife Erika of Zebulon, NC; his two sisters, Crystal Locus and husband Ron of Wendell, NC; Tameka Batchelor and husband Elder Spencer Batchelor of Wendell, NC; three grandchildren, Kha’Lazha Daughtridge of Wendell, NC; Kha’Koah Daughtridge of Wilson, NC; Zavion Daughtridge of Wendell, NC; a great grandson, A’siah Wilkins of Wendell, NC; a special grandmother, Evangelist Virginia Pope of Bailey, NC;  two special aunts who kept him fed, Rematha Davis of Wilson, NC and Lavolia Ayers and husband Harvey of Kenly, NC; a special cousin, Charletta Kelly and husband Chris of Wilson, NC; a lifelong friend, Tony Barnes of Savannah, GA.  Steve is also blessed with a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends who he loved dearly. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
