Sonia Suzette Wingate, 61, of 1300 Briarwood Drive, Wilson, NC 27896, passed away on Sunday,  March 19, 2023.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.  Pastor Steven Kent will officiate and burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and Stevens Funeral Home with an inspirational wake beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1004 S. Railroad Street, Wilson, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to  Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC 27893.
