The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Z. B. Brown and Annie Louise Ross Brown; sister, Sherrell Harris; two nephews, Jermaine Harris and Brandon Jones.

She leaves wonderful and loving memories to: her significant other, Pate Alston of Sims, NC; four daughters, Christa Brown, Rocky Mount, NC, Telisha Brown, Bailey, NC, Amanda Brown (Phillip) Zebulon, NC, Tameka Brown, Sims, NC; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Denise Taylor (Eric) Wilson, NC; one brother, Douglas Brown, Raleigh, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
