Sarah Mae Coley

Mrs. Sarah Mae Coley, 70, of 7851 Morris Street, Middlesex, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Lane Street SE, Wilson, NC. Pastor Ida Hamilton will deliver the message. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1603 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

Preceding Mother Coley in death were: one son, Lathaniel Coley, Jr.; her parents, Sarah Rickard Crumel and William Oscar Crumel; two brothers, Johnnie Crumel and Jerry Crumel.

Her loving heart and precious memories will forever be cherished by:  her husband, Lathaniel Coley, Sr. of the home; three daughters, Sarah A. Barrow (James) of Wilson, NC, Dareese Coley and Shontrice Coley both of the home; one sister, Brenda Winstead (George) of Springhope, NC; five brothers, William Oscar Crumel, Jr., Larry Crumel and Rick Crumel, all of Middlesex, NC, Jospel Crumel of Wake County and Junior Crumel of Nash County; four grandsons, James Barrow III, Laventa Barrow, Justin Barrow and Daruis Coley, all of    Wilson, NC; one great grand, Jahmin Barrow; one daughter-in-law, Amanda Coley and a host of family, ex-co-workers and loving friends.

A public viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
