Sandra Deloise Alston Obituary

Mrs. Sandra Deloise Alston, 60, of 103 Dewey Street Southwest, Wilson, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, 1705 Tarboro Street SW, Wilson, North Carolina.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Apostle Beverly Uwodi will deliver the message. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens, 1603 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.

A public viewing is scheduled for Friday, September, 11, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: her grandson, Legend Finch; step-son, Jimmy Earl Webb; her father, Leonard Dublin; brothers, Maurice Dublin, Leonard Ray    Dublin, Linwood Dublin (Pig); sister, Brenda Dublin; special friend, Rosa Lee Peterkin; brothers-in-law, Melvin Anderson and Joseph Anderson.

Precious memories are left to: her husband of 37 years, James Alston;   daughters, Anichar “Boobe” Dublin (Smoke), Lakisha Sutton (P.J.) and Lisa Dublin (Tommy); two step-daughters, Waneida Anderson and Ada Hill; her grandchildren whom she cherished, Se’Corey Gray, Kelly Graham, Jr., Tyrek Dublin, Jah’Quel     Jefferson, Jabrea Jefferson, Corey Hill, Jr., Zykira Dublin, Savy’on Hill, Devonta Best, Bettianna Pasley, Jah’nasia Hill, Ty’Quarius Anderson, Hykeem Horne, Zy’keise    Hagans and Kel’Niya Anderson; great grandchildren, Zoey Gray, Zaylan Wells and Brielle Moore; her mother, Annie Lou Moore Sherrod; sisters, Loretta Moore (Earl), Princess Best (Stanley), Michelle Lacey (Gary), Carolyn Dublin; brothers, James  Johnson, Vincent Dublin (Val), Dwight Dublin (Camilla), Michael Moore (Angela), Samuel Dublin and Ricky Thomas; two sisters-in-law, Betty Anderson and Joann   Dublin; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Anderson and Richard Anderson; special friends, Joyce Cooper, Patricia Archer, Charlotte Taylor, Rose Peterkin-Graham and Youngblood; two grand-fur babies, Marlo and Sasha; a host of nieces, including a  special niece, Jacqueline Ellis, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends, including her church family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
