Ruth Pender Fells, 76 of 1113 Forest Hills Road, Wilson, NC, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Preceding her in death were: her parents; one brother, Charlie Pender; a sister, Shirley Pender Bynum, and her dearly missed grandson, NyQuan Bannister Fells.

To celebrate her journey home, she leaves: her daughter, Charon Norris Fells of Conyer, GA; son, Earnest Lamont Fells (Leasha) of Wyandanch, NY; grandchildren, Charelle Fells Foster (Darnell), Matthew Thomas Quarles III, DaKeem Bannister Fells and Dominique Ashonte Fells; great grandchildren, Kamryn Fells, Khalia Fells, Harmony Fells and Kam’ron Dakeem Fells; sisters, Lillie Walker, Minnie Bush (Ben), Beatrice Barnes, Bernice Winstead (Ernest), Betty Pender, Daisy Pender and Alice Pender (Don); brothers, Joseph Pender (Eloise), Roscoe Pender, Willie H. Pender (Joan) and Danny Pender; sisters-in-laws; brothers-in-laws; a son-in-law and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC 27893.
