Rosita Wiggins

Ms. Rosita Wiggins, 72, of 116 Old Barn Lane, Rocky Mount, NC passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at Raleigh Transitioning Hospice Home, Raleigh, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1213 Leggett Road, Rocky Mount, NC.  Pastor Robert Pugh will officiate and entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC.

 A public visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 1, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.

Rosita leaves loving and cherished memories to her devoted companion and significant other of 30+ years, Will Stubbs, Jr., of Rocky Mount, NC; two sons, Andre Wiggins of Augusta, GA and Russell Arnelle (Nikki) Wiggins of Atlanta, GA; her siblings, Gloria Jean Pugh Sauls, Ruby Pugh Lee, and Madeline Mishoe McCoy, all of Wilson, NC, Pastor David M. Thomas (Cynthia) of Jacksonville, FL, Pastor Robert M. Pugh of Charlotte, NC, Robin Pugh and Pastor Aretha Pugh-Robinson, both of Greensboro, NC and Sharon Pugh of NJ; three grandchildren, Andrea Jones of Rocky Mount, NC, Aleia Wiggins of Greensboro, NC and Justin Wiggins with the Navy; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and an abundance of loyal best friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
