Rosa Lee Staton Evans

Ms. Rosa Lee Staton Evans, 73, of Saratoga, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC.  

The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2020, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Along with her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Evans, Sr.; one grand-daughter, Angelina Evans; her siblings, Mitchell Staton, Jr., Laura Lee Staton, Ruby Francisco, Barbara Jean Delane  and Mildred Yvonne Stewart.

Rosa leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  her children, Tarisa Evans of Wilson, NC, Samuel Henry Evans, Jr. (Dawn) of Conyers, GA and Fytisha Evans of Goldsboro, NC; eight grandchildren, Jermaine Evans (Cierra) of Hampton, GA, Jaquita Rainey (Demond) of Franklin Park, New Jersey, Angelique Evans (fiance’ Larry) of Wilson, NC, Latoya Evans of South Amboy, NJ, Tiana Shinholster of  Duluth, GA, Shannon Shinholster of Tucker, GA, David Evans of Goldsboro, NC and Isiah Evans of Conyers, GA; ten great great grandchildren; four siblings, Louise Bynum of Paterson, NJ, Catherine Horne of Wilson, NC, James Staton (Linda) of Paterson, NJ and Larry Blount (Robin) of Marietta, GA; and a host of nieces,   nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
