Ms. Ronda Renee Bynum 56, of Wilson, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at her home.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at L.N. Forbes OFWB Tabernacle, 1800 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC. Bishop Willie Thomas will deliver the words of comfort. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery of Wilson, NC.
A public walk-through is scheduled for Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.
Ronda was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Marian Bynum, maternal grandparents, Marion and Annie Winstead; paternal grandparents; Charlie and Lizzie Bynum; sister, Phyllis Annette Mitchell; nephew, Milton Ray Mitchell Jr.; aunts and uncles, Louis Jenkins, David and Ollie Mae Pope, Gracie Behlin, Elizabeth Winstead, Elijah Winstead, Robert Lee Winstead, Arthur James Winstead, Jason Winstead, William Darnell Winstead, Yvonne (Hattie) Latimer and Nanette Elliot, Mamie Mitchell, Betty Mae Bynum, Charlie Bynum Jr., Helen Wiggins, James Bynum, Ruby Jean Barrett and Albert Roy Bynum.
Ronda leaves to cherish loving memories to her son, Donte LeeMar Bynum of Wilson NC; sisters, Janet Shaquilia Bynum of Durham NC and Sabrina Carron Pate (Charles) of Wilson, NC; aunts, Fannie Etheridge, Sarah Hargrove, Beverly Winstead, LaBarbara Sheed, Vanessa Winstead; Lucy Gardner and Catherine Hannah both of Wilson, NC, Mary Brown (Floyd) and Carolyn Pender, both of Hampton, VA; one uncle, Miles Winstead of Hampton, VA; nieces, Daneika Shontell Bynum (goddaughter) of Durham, NC, Christy Shontell Mitchell of Wilson, NC, Brittany Carron Bynum of Durham, NC, and Brionna Charlez Pate of Wilson, NC; nephew, Kedran Lamont Bynum of Durham, NC; great-nephews, Jaquan Barnes of Wilson, NC, De’Mauri Marleek Bynum (godson) and Jayce Alexander Livingston both of Durham, NC; great-niece, Kaelyn Lanee’ Bynum; two special brothers-in-law, Milton Mitchell Sr. and Charles Pate Jr., both of Wilson, NC; special cousins/siblings, Terri Williams, Darryn Bynum, and Kentry Bynum all of Wilson, NC; PROTECTOR OF THE HOME, MAXI, THE DOG, and a very special friend Brandy .
