Romas "Jack" McGee, Jr.

Mr. Romas "Jack" McGee, Jr., 82, of 509 Forest Road, Wilson, NC, passed away on March 15, 2020.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020 at 12 noon at Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.  Elder Alexander McGee will deliver the eulogy.  The public walk through viewing will held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.

Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents, Romas McGee, Sr. and Bettie Knight McGee and one brother, Thurman McGee.

He leaves loving and cherished memories to: two sons, Romas P. McGee of Mt. Vernon, NY and Michael Todd of Elm City, NC; three daughters, Jacqueline Phillips of Nashville, NC, Minister Gloria Grant of Rocky Mount, NC and Sandy McGee-Newton of Elm City, NC; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Gethers of Aberdeen, MD; two brothers, John Julius McGee (Anna) of Fayetteville and Elder Alexander McGee (Bishop Ernestine McGee) of Elm City, NC; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Elder Alexander McGee and Pastor Ernestine McGee at 4339 Upchurch Road, Elm City, NC.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC,
