Mr. Robert Ray Freeman, Jr., 57, of 1729 Woodside Drive, Wilson, NC, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at his home.
Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. The burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.
A public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Preceding him in death were: his parents, Robert Freeman, Sr. and Sarah Pate and his aunt who reared him, Magalene Horne.
Cherished and special memories are left to: his wife, Benetta Freeman; one daughter, Imari Anthony; his uncle who raised him, Namen Horne, Jr.; god-daughters, Zamaya Dew and Jessica Anthony; father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Mary Ann Edwards; brothers, Lester Lee Freeman, Tommy Horne (Bonnie), Douglas Ray Pate (Mary) and Bobby Horne (Pearl); sisters, Joyce Forte (Reggie), Sadie Watson (Terry) and Angela Annette Horne; sisters-in-law, Sherry Mitchell (Brad) and Valerie Smith (James); and a host of other loving relatives, friends and his Parker's Barbeque Family.
