Mr. Robert L. Cooper, 79, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Wilson Assisted Living in Wilson, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 731 Pender St., Wilson, NC. Bishop Robert Daniels will deliver the eulogy.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

At other times, the family will receive friends at 506 Maplewood Avenue, Apt. 2, Wilson, NC.
