Mr. Robert Allen Farmer 59, of 4555 Evansdale Road, Wilson, NC 27893 passed away at his home in Wilson, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, July 18, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Contending for the Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC. Pastor Calvin Williams will deliver the Eulogy. The burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, 1603 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
The public walk-through is scheduled for Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by: brothers, James Lee Farmer, Roy Douglas Farmer, Charles Ray Farmer, King Solomon Farmer, Donnie Farmer, and Sigma Lee Farmer; two sisters, Beulah Mae Farmer, and Lillie Mae Farmer; ten uncles, Charlie Alston, Issac Alston, Fred Alston, Luther Farmer, Hap Farmer, and Robert Earl Daniels Sr.; four aunts, Mattoria Daniels, Lillian Farmer, Margie Daughtridge, and Rena Mae Alston; father-in-law, James Anderson.
He leaves to cherish wonderful memories to: his loving wife, Melissa Anderson Farmer of the home, who was his best friend and prayer warrior that stuck by his side through it all; three children whom he help raise as his own, one daughter, Briana Anderson of Greenville, NC; two sons, Antrell Anderson of the home and Monquel Anderson (Kira) both of Wilson, NC; two grand children, Aaleiyah Ly’nique Ny’cole Artis and Kaylee Mone Anderson both of Wilson, NC; his loving mother-in-law, Brenda Anderson of Wilson, NC; six sisters, Mary Ford (Exon), Minnie Hinnant (James), Martha Farmer, Linda McCall (Thomas), Delores Farmer, and Ruby Farmer (James) all of Wilson, NC; one brother, Ronnie Farmer (Sue) of St. Louis, MO; one god-brother, StepFernia “Bird” Pitt (Dorothy) of Kenly, NC; one great aunt, Bessie Mae Barnes; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives including; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Mitchell (Eric), Bishop Katie Farmer and Betty Ann Farmer; one brother-in- law, James Anderson (Sandra) all of Wilson, NC; special friends, Jack, Phil, Benny, and Claudia.
