Mr. Ricky Finch, 65, of 1110 Atlantic St., E. Wilson, NC, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at his home.
A public viewing is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC. The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Chapel F.W.B. Church, 513 Barnes Street, S., Wilson, NC. Bishop Robert L. Gorham will officiate and burial will follow Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.
Mr. Finch was preceded in death by: his parents, Wade Finch and Lula Mae Shepherd Finch and one brother, Kenneth Ray Finch.
He leaves loving and cherished memories to: his wife, Linda Faye Finch of the home; three sons, Ricky Carter (Tasha), Timothy Carter (Beverly) and Frederick Ingram, all of Wilson, NC; four step-sons, Shelton Ingram of the home, Travis Ingram (Jennifer) of High Point, NC, Kelvin Ingram of Wilson, NC and Michael Ingram of the home; twenty-one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Finch Joyner of Wilson, NC; two brothers, Tony Finch (Tammy) of Wilson, NC and Wade Finch, Jr (Marquita) of Lucama, NC; four sisters-in-law, Delores Brown, Elizabeth Riley, Brenda Richardson, and Linda Alston Finch, all of Wilson, NC; two brothers-in-law, Sylvester Ingram of Wilson, NC and Haywood Ingram (Shirley) of Goldsboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including his god-son whom he loved very dearly, Anthony "Ant Man" Gear.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
