Mr. Richard "Popeye" May, 69, of Wilson, NC passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at ECU Health in Greenville, NC.

A service of memorial is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.  The family will meet at Stevens Funeral Home at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday in preparation for the service.  Dr. Dameion Royal will officiate.
