Reverend Hobert S. Yates, 80, of 1202 South Church Street, Mount Olive, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Duke Raleigh Hospital.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 243 North Church Street, Kenansville, NC. Pastor Cornolius Moore will deliver the words of comfort. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.
A public visitation will also be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
