Rashio Montrell Evans

Mr. Rashio Montrell Evans, 37, of 105 Warren Street, Wilson, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., Stevens Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC. A book signing is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

Preceding him in death were: his grandparents, James Evans, Isaac Whitted, Sr. and Pearl Whitted; three aunts, Marilyn Brown, Laura Rice, and Marie Jackson; two uncles, Jerry Whitted, and Wesley Brown; cousin, Tyrone Whitted and God-mother, Vivian Mae.

Precious and fond memories are left to: his children, Montrell Williamson, Keyoni Williamson, Nigeria Williamson, Shaniya Nicole Farmer and Jayden Richinson; his parents, Diane Davis (Linwood) and Isaac Whitted, Jr. (Renee); four sisters, Tangela Applewhite (Tee), Natisha Evans (Bruce), Latoria Evans (Randy) and Jessica Whitted; two brothers, Dominick Ward (Tanya Whitted) and Johnel Johnson, Jr.; his grandmother, Percy Artis; his god-father, Larry Canady; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and devoted friends including, "The Get Fresh Crew", Red and Donald and his SMR Family and the B-Boys, Joseph Rodgers, Jarmal Edmonds, Dwight Artis, and Corey Melvin.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
