Mr. Qwantaveus Ty'Quise Fleming, 32, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. Pastor Justin Barnes will deliver the words of comfort. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, Wilson, NC.
Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by his endless love, Cassandra Harris; his father, Ric Fleming; his grandparents, Linda Fleming, Richard Daniels; his grand-dads, Eric "Skip" Alston and Dennis Ray Joyner; and a special cousin, "Vontae."
He leaves loving and cherished memories to: his precious baby girl, Ja'Ziya "Tiny" Lucas (Regina), his mother who was his queen, Kathy Ruffin; his step-father, Isaac Everette; his grandmother, Joyce Ruffin; his siblings, Qwatekia Ruffin (Zameze), Qwateza Ruffin (Julius), Qwanterius Hodges, A'Qwavion Everette, Raquan Fleming, Rickiea Fleming, Demorris Hodges and Katima Leach; his nieces and nephews, Damarion, Zayden, Any'lah, Kenzie, Cam and K.J.; Special aunts, Tomeka Ruffin (Kevin), Linda Bynum (Mister) and Yvonne Taylor (Eugene); Special uncle, Master Alston; his second family, godfather, Marcus Watson and sibling, Taylor, Shay, Brittany, Quell, Wonka, Lucky, Elijah, Kenny and the Watson family; very special people in his life, Billy, Mr. Grant, Britt, Jen, Kirk and Shay; Special cousins, Red, Tez, Quel, Zi, Uriyah, Slim, Monte', Moody, Zack, Me-Me, Tabitha Shawn, Shaniya and a host of other relatives and friends.
