Ms. Precious Vernetta Dyer, 29, of 407 Terrace Court, Greenville, NC passed away at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

A public viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 7, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Artin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.

Ms. Dyer leaves loving and cherished memories to:  her parents, Tijuana V. Locus and Dwight Lee Locus of Stantonsburg; her father, James Antonio Garner of Oxford, NC; six sisters, Dikiesha L. Barnes and Mishaya S. Barnes, both of MD, Amanda L. Locus, Samantha L. Locus, and Emilee L. Locus, all of Stantonsburg, and Briauna Morgan of Oxford, NC; four brothers, Divine L. Locus (Khiana) of Hubert, NC, Sergeant Devonta' L. Locus of Japan, Sergeant Donta' L. Locus of SC and Dwight L. Locus, Jr. of Stantonsburg; her grandparents, Marian Burke of Oxford, NC and Carlotta Locus of Lucama, NC; five aunts, Sheronda Boyd of Oxford, NC, Shelonda Boyd of Greenville, NC, Tamesha West of Newbern, NC, Natasha Locus of Sims, NC, and Andrea Garner of Manson, NC; three uncles, Chester Locus of Lucama, NC, Andrew Garner of Durham, NC and Tyrone Garner of Abilene Texas; several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends including her fiancee', Timothy Johnson.
