Ms. Portia Elaine Brewton Wade, 76, of Knightdale, NC and formerly of Asheville, NC passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.  Pastor Ken White will officiate.  Entombment will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC. 

A public visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
