Peggy Lee Joyner Obituary

Ms. Peggy Lee Joyner, 81, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson. Bishop Stefan Simmons will deliver the eulogy and Pastor James Parker will preside. Interment will follow in the Winstead Family Cemetery, 9053 Tar River Church Road, Elm City, NC.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Condolences may be posted to www.stevensfamilyfuneralhome.com or faxed to 252-991-5849.
