Ms. Pattie Mae Gray King, 74, of 3701 Ashbrook Avenue Wilson, NC, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at UNC Rex Hospital, Raleigh NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
A public walk-through is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Preceding her in death were: her husband, David King Jr.; a son, David King III; her parents, Kelly Gray and Mary Taylor Gray; three sisters, Gladys Brewer, Magdalene Weaver and Lucy Crumbley and two brothers, Kelly Gray and Danny Gray.
Pattie leaves many cherished memories to: her two daughters, Tracey Whitlock of Jacksonville, FL and Arnessa King of Washington, DC; eight grandsons, Roderick King, Joshua King, David King, Tracy Ruffin, Ja'Davian King, Christian Ruffin, Charles Hayes and Quinton Bryant; three great granddaughters, Amiyah Little, Traci Ruffin and Staci Ruffin; three sisters, Joyce Tyson (Rommie), of Kenly, NC, Vickie Lucas (James), and Mary Edwards (Bobby), both of Wilson, NC; three brothers, Larry Gray (Linda), Donald Gray and Samuel Farmer, all of Wilson, NC; three sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Stallings of Charlotte, NC, Mary Kenan (Donnell) of Kenly, NC, and Velma King of Wilson, NC; two brothers-in-law, James King (Stella) of Sims, NC and William King (Carol) of Upper Marlboro, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, including her Aunt Doretha Mitchell; god-mother, Bishop Eloise Sessoms; a god-sister, Mattie Deberry, and a special friend, Barbara Cox.
