Pastor Kenneth Lofton Obituary

Pastor Kenneth Lofton, 56, of Wilson, NC, transitioned on Monday, November 22, 2021, at The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC.

The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Total Impact Church, 502 Jordan Street, Wilson, NC.  A military burial will follow at Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC. Pastor Rudolph Lofton will officiate.

There will be a book signing at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pastor Lofton was preceded in death by:  his parents, Willie Lofton and Tenie Mae Barnes Lofton; one brother, Baby Boy Lofton; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Lee Cox, Jr. and John Crumel.

He leaves many loving and cherished memories to:  his devoted wife, Helen Cox Lofton of the home; his children, Kenyetta Lofton and Tiara Lofton (friend, Jon-Erik Taylor), both of Wilson, NC; one son-in-law, Richard Borg, Jr. of Wilson, NC: seven sisters, Carolyn Lofton Taylor of Dunn, NC, Carolyn Crumel of Wendell, NC, Christine Crumel (Joseph) of Wendell, NC, Frostina Renfrow (Harold) of Durham, NC, Lisa Tucker of Wilson, NC, and Sequania Edwards (Anthony) of Wilson, NC and Geneva Nunez (Alberto) of Dominican Republican , six brothers, Frank Lofton of Wilson, NC, Jesse Lofton (Bernice) of Saratoga, NC, Johnie Ray Lofton (Dorothy) of Wilson, NC, Pastor Rudolph Lofton (Windie) of Wilson, NC, Kenneth Ray Tucker (Melody) of Atlanta, GA, and Frederick Tyrone Lofton (Kelly) of Lucama, NC; two grandsons, Rome Rodgers and Cairo Taylor, both of Wilson, NC; four grandchildren, Kiersten Borg, Alana Borg, London Clemons, and Paris Taylor, all of Wilson, NC; three sisters-in-law, Evangeline Lofton, Apex NC, Rochelle Washington (Thaddeus) of Lucama, NC, and Yvonne Goodwin (Sean) of Princeton, NC; three aunts, Dorothy Lee Williams of Dudley, NC; and Annie Mae Clay and Bessie Mae Barnes, both of Wilson, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including a faithful armor bearer and great friend, Deacon Cliff Goodridge of Wilson, NC.

The family will meet and greet friends at the home of his daughter, Kenyetta Lofton, 4104 Sabre Lane, Wilson, NC 27896.

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
