Mother Charlotte "Roney" Bynum, 99, of 409 Woodcrest Street, Lucama, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at her home.

The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery 1717 Bishop LN Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC. At other times, the family will greet friends at the residence and will also assemble there at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in preparation for the funeral procession.
