Mother Bettie L. Rountree, 88, of Smithfield, NC passed away on October 24, 2024.

Her Celebration of Life and legacy will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, 6740 Rock Ridge Sims Rd., Sims, NC, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Overseer John L. Hart will deliver the eulogy. The burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L.N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC, following the service.

A public visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Pkwy, Wilson, NC.
