Ms. Minnie Mae Beamon Ward, 75, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries, 1006 Academy Street, Wilson, NC. Bishop Arinzor Blue will deliver the Eulogy.
A public walk-through visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 4:00 p.m, until 7:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr., Parkway, Wilson, NC.
Minnie leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Weldon Tyrone Ward (Whitney) of Tracy, California; a daughter, Theola Denice Ward of Wilson, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, LaShonda Gaston of Richmond, Virginia, LaToya Harrison (Paul) of Dunn, North Carolina, Candice Applewhite of Greensboro, North Carolina, Darryn Ward and Darniesha Ward both of Wilson, North Carolina, Destiny Ward, Brittany Colvin, and Courtney Freeman all of Tracy, California; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Hopkins (Cornell) of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Bernice Williams Webb (Vincent) of Elm City, North Carolina; five brothers, Bobby Artis of Portland, Oregon, Thomas Anthony Williams (Shirley), Keither Leon Williams (Tawana), and Bennie Williams, Jr. (Virginia) all of Wilson, North Carolina, and Billie Gray Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; a special brother, Earl Artis of Goldsboro, North Carolina; her step-mother, Edna Gray Williams of Wilson, North Carolina; one aunt, Georgia Bell Manning of Wilson, North Carolina; three uncles, Marvin Beamon, Leroy Beamon, and Walter Beamon (Edna) all of Wilson, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
