Ms. Mildred Doris Simms, 92 of 3501 Senior Village Lane, Wilson, NC, passed away, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Wilson Assisted Living, 3501 Senior Village Lane, NW,  Wilson, NC.

The funeral is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Stevens Funeral Home,1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC . Reverend Donna Simms Pulley will deliver the eulogy. The burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1717 Bishop L. N. Forbes Street, Wilson, NC.

A public walk-through is scheduled for Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday at Stevens Funeral Home.

Ms. Simms was preceded in death by:  her parents, Ashley Simms and Annie Knight Simms; her siblings, James Simms, Leslie Simms and Ashley Simms, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law, Corrine Simms.

She leaves loving and cherished memories to:  one son, Reginald Simms and his wife, Brendina, of Newport News, VA; two grandchildren, Brian Simms and his wife, Florestina, of Newport News, VA and Jonathan Simms and his wife, Adriene, of Loudoun County, VA; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Trumiller Clark of Washington, DC; one brother, Curtis L. Simms and his wife, Brenda, of Charlotte, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends including a special niece who always assisted in her caregiving, Donna Simms Pulley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC.
