Master Gunnery Sgt. James Arthur Junior Rasberry, 72, of 207 North Parker Street, Elm City, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at The Service League of Greenville, ECU Health in Greenville, NC.

His Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at St. John Apostolic Holiness Church of Black Creek, NC. Bishop Robert Daniels will deliver the eulogy. Burial will commence in the East Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Long Plants Farm Rd., Goldsboro, NC, on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Military Honors.

The public viewing is also Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at St. John Apostolic Holiness Church, prior to the funeral service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
