Ms. Mary Lewis Barfield Nelson, 82, of Alachua, FL, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainsville, FL.

The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis Chapel Church, 9705 Hwy. 264, Farmville, NC.  Dr. Leccie Edwards will officiate and burial will follow in St. Delight Cemetery, Walstonburg, NC.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy., Wilson, NC.
